Awesome backpack with solid handles and zippers.
Having lots of inner pockets enables me to get things organized.
Definately the backpack that I have ever had.
Slightly bigger than I expected but just enough to fit my stuffs for daily use.
Im seriously considering to get Rush 12 for the use of EDC.
Absolutely love this pack. More than big enough to go travelling with, if you're willing to travel a bit light, and small enough to take onboard as hand luggage for flights. Loads of great internal pocket space, which makes organising kit really easy.
Everything is just really well thought out - the buckles and zips are all standardised and interchangeable (if one breaks, just replace it with another from a less essential part of the bag), the internal pockets can be accessed from two sides, which is handy when you have the back completely open for packing, the hydration compartment is the perfect size for a MacBook Pro, the fleece-lined glasses pocket is awesome for a compact camera or smart phone, etc. One thing I'd say - 5.11 have wisely made this pack NOT waterproof (to save weight and because waterproof treatments tend to rot away over time - see the British Army Bergen as a case point, which goes all horrible and sticky on the inside as the waterproof treatment decays). With this in mind, if you're intending to trek around India during the monsoon or wade through any rivers with this, make sure clothes and electronics are stored inside proper dry bags inside.
All in all, cannot fault this bag. Even my girlfriend wants one for when we go travelling!
